“Do one thing everyday that scares you.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
My name is Linda and thank you for stopping by!
Just to give you a basic glimpse into my life, I work full-time as a business analyst, I am 27 years young, I am engaged with my partner of 9 years, I have a tertiary background in chemical engineering, I am paying off an exuberant mortgage and I am the mother of two fur-babies, Winter and Blue.
But more importantly, I adore my life.
I am one of the lucky ones and every day feels like another blessing.
I am happy, I am healthy and I am surrounded by loved ones that are incredibly supportive and kind-hearted.
And with that being said, I have suddenly become too aware of just how fast my life is moving.
I am losing time and missing moments. Weeks are passing by and a year is starting to feel like a mere month.
So I started this blog because:
- I want to start making the most out of now,
- I want to get to know my creative self, and;
- I want to invest time and energy into something that brings me fulfillment.
“Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work, driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying off, in order to get to a job that you need so you can pay for the clothes, car and the house that you leave empty all day in order to afford to live in it.” – Ellen Goodman
Olive and Clo is a creative platform where I come to totally and unapologetically be myself, ramble on about the things that interest me, learn about video editing and makeup application and cooking (three topics that I am woefully unqualified in) without embarrassment or fear of judgement.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank my little cyber family that has continued to follow me on this incredible journey – you guys have been wonderful! And to the newcomers reading this, I hope you have found something that you enjoy!
