Rhett’s family were up for the Easter long weekend, so we thought of no better excuse but to go up the Sunshine Coast in search for sun, surf and of course, breakfast.
Guys. I had the most incredible day. The warmth, the atmosphere, the smell, the company – it was all absolutely delicious. My Easter Saturday proved to be so relaxing. And I loved every single second.
We ended up in a little suburb within Noosa (otherwise known as Sunshine Beach) and started off our day with breakfast at the Dukes Deli cafe. I had an Eggs Benedict on Gluten-free bread with hollandaise sauce on the side and a hash brown. It was soo yummm-y!
Once we were done eating, we headed off to the beach. Unfortunately the surf was no good but the boys still relented and went for a small paddle out anyway.
As you can see from these photos, it was another spectacular day in sunny Queensland. There was barely a cloud in the sky. By 9 am, it reached a top of 26 degrees celsius which was complimented by a light onshore breeze.
For anybody wanting to know, today I wore:
- Wrangler white denim shorts (s. 2012 – they are absolutely historic!)
- Zara olive silk blouse (s. 2016) and
- Windsor Smith (s. 2016)
I’m not sure if you can tell through the photos, but I absolutely adore getting out and capturing moments to share with you guys. It challenges me to be more public with my blogging – something that I am not entirely comfortable with yet – and to visit new places and try new things.
