Sydney Opera House & Zara Clothing

When visiting my southern neighbours last weekend, Rhett and I went for an impromptu road trip down to the Sydney Opera House. Having arrived fairly early, mindful of Sydney’s horrendous traffic, we got there absolutely starved. And considering I’m not the best functioning person when hungry, Rhett thought it best we eat before checking out the sights. Thankfully, Portobello Caffe, a quaint (and oh-so-boujee) Italian cafe was open and I could just tell that they wanted to feed me (haha). Obviously, I obliged.

So there we were, Rhett and I, two people sitting happily by the spectacular blue bay of Sydney Harbour. We sipped lactose-free lattes whilst I took sensible, demure bites (..cough) out of my frittelle (corn fritters served with prosciutto san daniele, seasoned rocket, cream cheese, and capsicum sauce) and the whole experience was just ..wonderful. That frittelle was deeeee-licious! Oh sweet bajeebus. I’ve started to salivate.

Once breakfast was done, Rhett and I set off on a wonder around the harbour. As I have recently come to expect, the Australian weather did not disappoint with yet another picturesque autumn day. And feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but I don’t believe these iconic landmarks require any sort of introduction. So I won’t bore you with such details. And besides, knowing me, I would more than likely butcher history and culture by blurting out inaccurate, made-up non-sense.

Now onto my outfit – I simply cannot resist any longer – I am utterly obsessed. Because talking outfits and ootds is clearly my idea of a good time. So, here it goes!

Earlier this week, I managed to get my mittens on the cutest little skirt from Zara with tasselled fringing. And I don’t know why but for the life of me, I cannot seem to locate this skirt online (which is suchhhh a disappointment)! But if memory serves me correctly, I got this for a cool $69.00 (AUD). And this skirt should still be available at all Australian outlets.

As for the rest of my ensemble:

  • Seed ribbed body suit in black (s. 2016),
  • Mimco tasselled clutch bag in black (s. 2016), and
  • Jo Mercer suede pumps in black (s. 2016).

I will admit, todays outfit was a bit black, on black, on black. I guess I was just feeling it that day. But by no means did all the ..darkness reflect my mood. Well, atleast ..I don’t think? haha.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post. As you can probably tell, I am brand spanking new to this whole ‘fashion blogging’ business. And since I am still very much learning, I would so highly appreciate hearing your thoughts on my progress so far. I can only get better through honest feedback. So please feel free to leave a comment down below. <3

Until next time, stay safe.
Love Linda, xo

Been there a few times. Did the Bridge climb the first time I was there. Did it on a Saturday night – the most expensive day / time to do it but I was only there for a few days so I thought what the heck. Anyway it was worth the extra Bucks as it was an awesome experience as was the view from the top. The higher up you go, the windier it gets by the was. You haven’t really ‘done’ Oz unless you’ve done the harbour / bridge & opera house.

You know what, I haven’t even experienced the climb myself yet! That should definitely go on my bucket list! Good reminder!

You look great! The photos are still really good! Tell Rhett he’s doing a great job 😀
Also, I would love to go back to Sydney one day! I loved hanging out at the Opera House and the Harbour. My favourite was Darlington Harbour though 🙂
