I am so, so excited to be sharing this experience with you guys. Last Saturday morning, my partner and I ventured to Kondalilla Falls located at the Kondalilla National Park, Montville. Which, for all those who are interested, ended up being an hour and a half drive north from Brisbane, CBD. And yes, I probably should preface that getting to this attraction did take quite a bit of effort. Not only was I forced out of bed at an unholy hour, but what followed was 5 kms of a rather pecarious walking circuit and a few flights of equally life endangering stairs.
But needless to say, all of the above was completely and utterly worth it. The waterfall was spectacular, breath-taking even. And the sub-tropical rainforest was glorious, and green, and lucious, and over-whelmingly beautiful. So besides me sitting here, boring you all to tears with my overuse of adjectives, here are some photos from my morning spent under a canopy of ancient trees.
For anybody wondering, for this adventure I wore:
- Cozi by Jennifer Hawkins off the shoulder top in a blue paisley print – to find out more, please click here; and
- Tigerlily maxi skirt in teal with dual side splits – this skirt is no longer in season but to find a similar skirt, please click here.
As always, I hope you guys have enjoyed this post. And if there are any fellow Australians out there who know of any must-see waterfalls, please feel free to leave a comment down below! Needless to say, I’ll be spending the remainder of this year chasing waterfalls! Hehe.
Until next time, stay safe.
Love Linda, xo
