I am going to keep today’s post short and sweet. To all the incredible people who follow me on Instagram (@OliveandClo), you guys would have already seen a sneak peak of this spectacular view earlier in the week. So without further ado, here are some more photos! Hehe.
So last Sunday night, before heading out on a double date to our local Mexican restaurant, Rhett and I stopped by Wilsons Point to watch the sunset. And I must admit, the ‘sunset’ itself proved a huge disappointment as there was not a sliver of pink or purple to be seen. But once the sky reached ‘nautical twilight’ and the city lit-up, the Brisbane city sky-line from our vantage point was truly a sight to behold. It was incredible.
And that’s it from me today. As you can imagine, I am stoked it is Friday (throws confetti everywhere) and needless to say, I have already started my countdown to 5 pm. Rhett and I have a few things planned for the weekend, none of which involves chasing a waterfall. Haha I know, shock horror! But I am just hoping that mother-nature is feeling a little less sad and wet this weekend. She’s not felt much else lately. But I guess we shall see!
Oh and one other thing! I have re-activated Olive and Clo’s Twitter account (@OliveandClo) after chucking a small tantrum a month ago and de-activating it. I just .. I just don’t know how to use this platform! What even is a tweet!? I wish I was joking. Anyway, I would absolutely adore some love in that space, so if anybody has a moment, please feel free to add/follow/chirp/flap/whatever me.
What are you guys getting up to this weekend?
Love Linda, xo
Let’s see if I can still comment here π
So, I’m sorry the sunset was a little disappointing. But the lights from the city I think, definitely make up the view!! I am also excited it’s Friday, I can’t wait for this weekend. We don’t actually have much planned, so it should be nice and relaxing for a change π
Good to see that this comment worked! π
