Elabana Falls, Lamington National Park

I know, I know. Another damn waterfall. But guys, just look at these photos! Can you honestly sit there and tell me that you are not as obsessed as I? And not only was this place an aesthetic pleasure to photograph but the 8-km circuit to-and-from Elabana Falls and the waterfall itself, was an absolute daydream to explore.

So, with this being my 4th waterfall to spotlight in however-many-weeks, I’ll keep my gushing to a minimum. This beautiful cascade waterfall is located in the heart of Lamington National Park  and is readily accessible via the Box Forest circuit or even the Toolona Creek circuit near O’Reilly’s hinterland rainforest retreat.

And with that being said, due to Elabana Falls close proximity to the above popular resort, visitors should expect a fair bit of foot traffic on any given weekend. Because despite Rhett and myself arriving at 7:30 am on a Saturday, which in my opinion was pretty darn early, we still found ourselves within the company of a rather large tour group of 15 or so tourists and ran into our fair share of bright-eyed-and-bushy-tailed couples.

But thankfully, Rhett and I managed to secure a solid 15 to 20-minutes with Elabana Falls exclusively to ourselves where we were able to secure a handful of incredible photos that I am so pleased to share with you all. And I do hope you guys enjoy these as much as I adored going on this not-so-little adventure! It goes without saying that this little gemstone is definitely one to add to your bucket lists!

Love Linda, xo

Haha, your first statement made me laugh so much! You know we love these damn waterfalls you keep visiting. How do you guys have so much to visit?? It’s gorgeous as always, as are the photos showing it off! πŸ˜€
Also, wouldn’t those rocks you’re walking on be slippery? I’m guessing not, or you wouldn’t be walking on them πŸ˜›

    • July 19, 2017 / 7:18 am

      Oh! They were slippery! πŸ˜‚
But it’s amazing how much grip you get being barefoot! So it was pretty easy to balance on! 😊

Thank you – as always – Angybaby! πŸ’›πŸ€—
And I’m not sure – we are pretty lucky here in Australia. There doesn’t seem to be a shortage! Rhett and I still have loads to do! But definitely looking forward to explore you and Rory’s playground. New Zealand holds so so so much promise! πŸ’™β„οΈοΈ
